Aromatic tobaccos require more than only their toppings. Peter Stokkebye relies on Virginias for the Cavendish in this cherry-topped blend. Virginias add their own flavor to the Cavendish process instead of simply absorbing flavor. This process creates a more nuanced taste rather than drowning the tobacco in toppings. The body remains mild while the boldness gains complexity from the naturally sweet Virginias. This cherry tobacco should appease both the room and the smoker.
This is our bestselling cherry tobacco. The cherry flavor is front-and-center from first light to bottom of the bowl. I did notice the Virginias at points, and I think they did more than hide in the back. Now, I found this blend a little temperamental, so tongue-bite may be a problem if smoked too fast. However, I had no moisture problem. If you're looking for a staple cherry aromatic, definitely get this one.
