As pipesmokers, we are often described as unique, and our tobaccos are no different. Red Virginia is a fine example. It has a mollases-like, natural sweetness, yet a subtle citrus develops when it's given time to age. 515 brings a mild body and complex flavor to the straight, red Virginia blend.
My first thought, after lighting this up: I hope you like ketchup. There's a definite vinegar note at first light, but it burned off after a couple puffs. A deep sweetness and with subtle tang replaced it for the rest of the bowl. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bulk red Virginia.
