Matured red Virginias meet a dash of black Cavendish and a generous portion of Perique. The naturally sweet Virginias and spicy Perique create a pleasant citrus flavor. Meanwhile, the body rates between mild + and medium.
Good news everyone: The Cavendish is unflavored, so it only serves to smooth the edges between Red Virginia and Perique. I like the citrusy sweetness and touch of pepper. The flavor didn't overwhelm me, but I found it pleasant. The body didn't even come on my radar, so this would be a great all day VA/Perique for you Perique fans.
