English pipe makers prefer accuracy in their pipe shapes. Astley sent us a fine example with this bent bulldog. The back of the diamond shank runs into the bottom of the bowl. Flame grain rises from the bottom of the bowl. Birds-eye picks up above the bead lines. With a stamp of "Jermyn St.," this pipe was likely made between 1990 and 2000.
